When pop star Katy Perry first became famous after the release of her second album in 2008, Zooey Deschanel was already a well-known actress, and comparisons between the two were immediate.
The New Girl star did not seem too happy about it: "It's a little bit annoying, to be totally blunt," she told MTV in 2009. "The only similarity that we have is that we look a little bit alike. I have met her before. She seems like a nice person. I'm happy that she's famous enough now that she's not going out and being mistaken for me."
2. Kit Harington and Christopher Abbott
With their dark curly hair, cool beards and brooding eyes, it looks like the British Game of Thrones star actually has an American twin - actor Christopher Abbott (Girls, Catch-22).
Some fans have also jokingly called Abbott the love child of Jon Snow and another dark-haired actor, Shia LaBeouf.
3. Logan Marshall-Green and Tom Hardy
When the Upgrade star first emerged on the scene, fans were struck by how much he looked like British actor Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight).
For Marshall-Green, who actually has a twin brother in real life, it wasn't a first-time experience: "I’d be honored to be in the same sentence as Tom Hardy. I’ve been a twin since the day I was born - fraternal, but we look a lot alike - so I’ve already been mixed up with another man my entire life."

Some celebrity duos look so similar, we can hardly tell them apart. The I, Tonya star and My Name Is Earl alum look like sisters, even with a 13-year-difference between them (Pressly being the senior).
"We do look a lot alike," Pressly said of her first meeting with Robbie. "When she did the movie I, Tonya I was in the premiere... and you know, everybody's talking about the doppelganger thing so I was excited to meet her[...] and was like - if I look like you, that's fine with me."

Bell spoke to The A.V. Club about being often mistaken for Peet, who she called "super foxy".

The Avengers and the Westworld are often confused with one another, and it's not just fans who think they look alike. “My mom still thinks that I’m in Westworld,” Salanda joked on the Late Late Show with James Corden. “Years ago, [she] thought that I was in Traffic. ‘Mom, you did not give birth to Thandie Newton.’”
“I met Thandie at the Golden Globes a couple of years ago,” added the Avatar star. “I hugged her. I kinda scared her because I didn’t tell her why I was invading her space: I go, ‘Please tell me people confuse you for me.” And she goes, ‘Who are you?’”.

After Khachanov played against Rafael Nadal in the US Open, fans were quick to notice the Russian tennis player's uncanny resemblance to the Australian actor.
